Nadira Mohamed, PharmD
Dr. Nadira Mohamed, PharmD, is a public health leader with expertise in citywide, statewide, and national initiatives. With a background in clinical pharmacy and a focus on public health, leadership, and health disparities, she brings a unique clinical perspective to her work. At the Minnesota Department of Health, she played a key role in infectious disease control, including COVID-19 case management and antibiotic resistance studies. She has also worked with nonprofits and health authorities to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates through strategic outreach. Dr. Mohamed led impactful efforts to address opioid use and vaccine hesitancy, particularly within the East African community. She is dedicated to creating equitable healthcare solutions and empowering underserved communities through research, education, and policy-driven change.
